Back into the sa-WING!

O hey there!

You thought I was gone, WRONG. I'm back, I'm blogging, and I'm beautiful. Well two of those things, I'm not really back OSNAP!

Anyway tonight is Fuel. And fuel tonight is DTeams. What are you doing? Do you know? Do I know. If you are any age other that a year 8 boy, the answer is no. If you are a year 8 boy, the answer is behaving. HA.

I'm excited though. Nervous, because I have to lock all my valuables away from the tornado of pain and destruction that is my fantastic DTeam, but excited, cause they are at ma house. All your DTeam leaders are the same. They could be out partying it up, and you know they would. No they would. Hey, we could so be out partying if we wanted to, just because I was banned from dancing by the party police doesn't mean- you know what settle down, lets all go to DTeams.

DTeams is part of a healthy teenage diet aswell, and recommended to 12yr olds as a way of introducing them to the teenagers diet. What do you guys eat at dteams? Leave me a comment, its not hard, I did with Flick. At first I was like, 'ooo this will be hard cause lots of people told me it was hard' but it's not. You just have to be patient because it doesn't autopost like facebook. Which is good, because then my blogs would have 800 comments. All mine. So if you comment, be patient!

But FLICK was the most important part of that paragraph! Read her blog! It's fantastic. It's like a normal person wrote down useful and interesting information! I was reading it going "oooohhhhhhhhhhh, THAT'S what brendan meant when he said write a blog", convienantly, I have not changed my blogging style as a result of reading Flick's blog, because change scares me.

MAN it just started raining! This has RUINED my blogmood.

See you at DTeams! (In spirit! We are all there in SPIRIT! O wow spirited away is an amazing movie if you haven't seen it go watch it now, watch it for dteams, don't worry mum its PG safe! Wow its just like somebody ate imagination pie and then used all the imagination power the imagination pie gave them to create something I don't understand but I LOVE)

Go Dogs for tonight!

Flick's wonderful adventure in the church office!

Hey Guys,

I’m Flick and I have been pulled into writing this blog for you, but it will be kinda cool I hope. I am in year 8 at the moment and have been involved in Fuel since year 7.

Hope you enjoy reading this and I don’t bore you to sleep.

Been missing Fuel over the holidays??? Well I have some exciting news for you!!! Fuel is here for term 2!!!! I am soo excited and I think everyone else should be too!!!!

The program for Fuel Term 2 is awesome!! (I should know, because I just got the incredible privilege of helping with the mailout. It was outrageously fun, and every single one of you should volunteer to help out for next term.)…. (ok, so maybe Brendan added that bit…)

But to entertain you, I shall tell you about my highlights of Term 1.

Fuel started with FUEL CAMP 2010!!! How awesome was that?!?! It was the best camp ever. There were amazing sessions, awesome worship, fantastic Fuel Glee and of course all the activities and electives that are very memorable. Everyone had soo much fun (I think), but I definitely had a great time and learnt heaps.

BEACH NIGHT, YEAR LEVEL NIGHT, JUNIOR/SENIOR NIGHT, UNITED AND D-TEAMS were all soo awesome and the activities that made Fuel term 1 awesome!!!

Did you go see the PARACHUTE BAND perform live??? Well, I did and it was the best night of my life. I loved all the music and the whole night just moved me, which was why I decided to make my commitment to following Jesus that night and it was the BEST DECISION EVER!!!!

After giving my life to God it has changed my life massively. There have been heaps of people that have influenced and impacted my life. My relationship with God has grown so much. These holidays have been a really amazing experience for me. Things I have talked about with people and prayed about, God has answered and it was incredible. Schools been hard for me lately and having God there with me has been amazing and I just know that if things don’t work out, God’s word and God’s love never stops and it’s alive and true. Knowing God has been with me through these things has helped me heaps and just remember, Gods love never fails.

I have also been reading the Lord’s Prayer and it got me thinking. There are people who I need to forgive for things they have done to me, but there are also people out there who I need to be forgiven by for things I have done. After Jesus was praying, one of the disciples asked him to show them how to pray and he did and he said the Lord’s Prayer. It was pretty amazing as I have just started reading the bible and things like that I find cool. It also says that the Lord gives us our daily bread. He knows what we need or what we think we need but sometimes what we want or need is not what He wants us to have or maybe it is. Talk about your needs to God, cos he loves for us to talk to him. But even if he doesn’t answer your prayer they way you had hoped, don’t be disheartened because God knows us better than we know ourselves, and he will always give us what we really need.

I want to share with you a quote that I read in a novel. “God is weird and we are tweaked.” Things may not be working out but talk about it and everything will work out in a way God wants it to. God can be weird and He does stuff you won’t believe but there is some sense in there, because He is our King and our Saviour and he above knows all things. Trust in the Lord with all your heart!

Hope you enjoyed this and I didn’t bore you to sleep!

May God bless you

Flick xx

Camps

So firstly, i wana say sorry that my blogs have been a bit sporadic this year.. i have been a little busy! what have you been doing i hear you ask? well, i have been going on many camps.. and i have decided that camps are pretty much the thing i love doing most! :)

So so far this year, i started the year with a Mallacoota Theos which was mad..

then i went on FUEL CAMP! which was unbelievably awesome! :)

then i went on the Syndal South 5/6 Camp to canberra, which was a lot of fun! Loved kicking the winning goal at the AIS.. and perusing the war memorial.. and reaquainting myself with every childrens movie ever made on the really long bus trip!

and then i went on a church staff retreat, which was pretty cool (though not quite as crazy as fuel camp..) we went and saw the blind side - great movie, u should all see it!

and then i went on the Highvale year 7 camp - shout out to all highvaleins.. u guys are the bomb!! especially group 6 for there night walking skills, and group 5 and 7 for your nitro crossing expertise!

and then in a couple of weeks im going to Mt Waverley year 7 camp - which i am incredibly pumped about!! especially the last night, where i hear there are going to be some insane games!

So i would love to hear from anyone else who was on any of those camps.. or any other camps that u might have been on so far this year!

what was the highlight? what did u love most?
