// What is Fuel?

FUEL Youth Ministry is a ministry of Syndal Baptist Church for Secondary School aged young people.

It is made up of two very cool and very important parts: Fuel Friday Nights and Fuel InFuse Groups.

Fuel Friday Nights

We run our amazing Friday night activities on a four-week cycle during term (meaning 8 Friday night events throughout term). We run four weeks in a row, then take a week off, then run another four weeks in a row, before we break for the holidays.

Generally the four week cycle will follow this pattern:

• Friday 1:
  Big Event (Cool activities which the whole Fuel group are involved in)
• Friday 2:
  DTeams (The guys and girls in each year level split up and hang at someone's house or organise to do something fun elsewhere)
• Friday 3:
  BIg Event (Again, a fun activity which the whole youth group from Year7-12 get involved in).
• Friday 4:
  Year Level Night or United.  Year Level Nights are where each year level organise to do something together.  United is always on the last Friday of Fuel's term, and is essentially a Youth Church Service.  We usually have praise and worship music, a speaker, a game and some other cool stuff.
• Friday 5: NO FUEL
  (The fifth friday of Term is a break from Fuel, as well as the last week of the school term).

Fuel Friday Nights are open to all secondary aged students and generally run from 7.30pm-10.00pm.

FUEL INFUSE GROUPS

Fuel InFuse groups are a new addition to the Fuel Youth Ministry, but a very exciting one!

Already we have over 40 young people signed up for these great small groups. Each group is made up of both guys and girls who meet together weekly (usually at someone's house) to hang out, have fun and most importantly to study the bible and learn more about Jesus.

The groups generally run for 2 hours and have two or three leaders who care for and teach the group. Each group has between 8-15 members.

Weeknight groups are for students in years 9-12, while Sunday morning groups are for those in years 7 & 8. Any young person is welcome, even if they don't regularly attend Fuel on a Friday night.

This term's groups will be advertised after Fuel Camp (26th-29th January).
